A pretty winter landscape by Ukrainian artist Eugene Moiseev. Impressionist daubs in a palette of earth tones, with a couple on a trail subtly visible at lower right. Painted on heavy cardboard as so much art was in the mid-century in the Soviet Union, with materials scarce. Even the good painters often didn't have or couldn't afford canvas. Framed and ready to hang, with transparent plexi on back to expose painting information.
