Charles Collins hails from a family of New Orleans artists. His late mother was a noted painter as his sister currently is, and he has a son who is a glassblower. His work has not been available outside of New Orleans, so we are pleased to present it to our online audience. You can see a number of his paintings in our current inventory. They show the influence of his mother’s mid-century style. "Three Spirits" was inspired by a view of the bar in a friend's house. It shows the delicate color sense of the artist, and unexpected compositional elements that make his work distinctive. 30" x 24", unframed.
