I found another copy of this sought after lithograph online, and have attached an image of it priced at $500 more than mine. Theirs is pre-owned - I believe ours has actually never been framed; I acquired it in a cellophane sleeve. At any rate, this is a 1999 litho that combines the work of notable contemporary painter Donald Baechler (a flower image you can immediately recognize as his work) with the poetry of David Greenberg. It was published by Brooke Alexander, Inc. in New York, created for the Poetry Project Benefit. It is hand-signed by Baechler, #49 in a small edition of only 75 - so there are very few around. Baechler died last year at only 65; he was an extremely influential painter associated with the vibrant neo-Expressionist period in 1980's New York, with others such as Julian Schnabel who are easy to relate to his work. I always loved his crude, cartoon-like images and his wonderful painterliness.
