A charming still life in which the artist has whimsically converted the figure of a woman into one of the objects in the composition. It all seems to work together beautifully. It is framed, but there is a dull area on the top of the frame so I personally would reframe it. Oil on artist's board, around 14" x 11" without frame. Though I don't know anything about the painter, I'd assume he is Scandinavian, considering both his first and last names (the name Wilson deriving from "son of Wils").
