Still Life With Vegetables
Acrylic Paint, Oil Paint
16.50 x 27.50 in

A lush, gorgeous still life I acquired back when I had my Magazine Street gallery, but never got around to making available. It's oil and acrylic on masonite. Not even sure what vegetables these are, but in a way it's entirely unimportant as they're essentially just a template for putting down these talented strokes and daubs of color. The corners of the masonite are a bit soft and denty, but it won't matter once framed. In fact, in a weird way, I sort of like the slightly rough edges of the masonite and would probably float-frame it. But to each their own!
