This painting induces nostalgia in me, as it reminds me of some of the places I rambled around as a boy growing up. It was among some art that came out not long ago from the corporate collection of Freeport-McMoran. A sizable painting, so has some real wall power to it. Texas-based Wanda Gamble's work is in museum collections including the Grace Museum of Abilene, the San Angelo Museum of Art, The Art Center of Waco and The Tyler Museum of Art.
