A lovely view out from a patio porch across a broad valley, with moody mountains in the far distance and a very convincing sky mottled with gray clouds. I would expect this to be a view of Spain, since the artist's name and unusual stretcher size say "Europe." The artist has purposely included the edges of the porch roof and a bit of the floor in order to frame the painting so it feels exactly as if you are standing on the porch, a modernistic touch to what otherwise would be a conventional landscape painting.
