Hand-signed and numbered by the artist, this is a limited-edition mixed media print, not of course the original (which would sell for over $1 million). Among the photos I have included, you will see one I took on eBay of a dealer selling a print from the same prized edition, exactly like this one, for $2,500. This (Dutch Masters) is the most famous image created by first-tier American Pop artist Larry Rivers. This is part of an edition of 500 prints. It is signed both in the plate and by hand. I purchased this in a batch of 5 consecutive prints that are UNTOUCHED and have never been framed or handled! Larry Rivers was one of the earliest, if not the earliest, artist to qualify as making Pop Art in America. His "Washington Crossing the Delaware" was painted way back in 1953, when the Abstract Expressionists were slashing away! Google him for tons of information on this extremely important New York artist. He is on my top 5 list (along with Twombly, Rauschenberg, Julian Schnabel and Anselm Kiefer). Signed and numbered
