There are a lot of things I like about this still life by Russian painter Olga Ray, but I think most of all it is the very limited color palette. The objects show Ray's distinctive style, which somehow reminds me of the 1930s though she is a contemporary painter. Comes on a gallery-wrapped canvas and can be hung without a frame, though I think it would look great framed.
