I'm an abstract painter myself, but the time I spent doing realism makes me wonder how anyone paints this well. I call your attention for example to the cow in the middle of the painting with its rump to us and its head turned to the left. This sort of convincing foreshortening, particularly considering the way the light is playing on the cow's back, is agonizingly difficult. At any rate, what a luscious rural scene. You can almost smell the wild grass, and feel the coolness in the trees rendered in those cool greens, grays and blues in the distance. Oil on board, ready for framing and of a standard size in case you prefer a ready-made (less expensive) frame instead of a custom one.
