I have photographed this stunning antique painting in both bright outdoor light (second photo) and indoor light (the main photo) to give sense of its subtle color in various lighting. Either way, it masterfully captures the gentle rose-colored dawn beginning to glow between two clusters of hardwoods. In the foreground is a wooden bridge over a stream. I cannot find a signature; could be hidden by the frame, or not there at all. But I sure wish I knew who painted it. I'm guessing late 19th-century. In overall good condition for its age - slight stretcher or liner impression at top left.
