I liked this painting so much when I acquired it that I sent it to a high-end art restorer to work on a small area where the paint was getting crackly (you probably wouldn't be able to find it if you tried). Just masterful Impressionistic strokes, whomever the artist was (naturally, I wish I knew . . .). Painted in oil on an early 20th-c artboard panel. Bought it from a European dealer so it's almost certainly a scene in northern Europe, and was painted there. Measurement given is with frame (included).
